THERE IS/ ARE:

-There is: hay...(singular, hay una cosa). Ex: there is a hospital in our town.
-There are: hay....(plural, más de una cosa). Ex: There are two hospitals in our town.

-There isn´t:  No hay..(singular). Ex: There isn´t a supermarket in my town
-There aren´t: No hay...(No hay). Ex: There aren´t supermarket in my town.

Is there a train station in your town? Yes, there is/ No, there aren´t
Are there  three shops in your town? Yes, there are/ No, there aren´t

Where is the cinema? (¿Dónde está el cine?)
